AFRICA'S BIGGEST STREET PARTY themed MIGRATION

It has been loud, it has been wild, it has been intense with all the electrifying feels of euphoria in the 2017 Calabar Carnival with the dance processions and much more. The Governor, Senator Ben Ayade and his wife, Linda Ayade drove in a red colored Lotus convertible while Nollywood actors like Larry Coldsweat, Zack Orji and Edward Osifu participated in the 2017 Carnival Calabar hot wheels event where over 2 dozen vintage, flashy and customized vehicles drove through the 12 Kilometer Carnival Calabar route. Also participating were the Irish and German teams. Sam Dede later joined in the event but appears more interested in the Bikers parade which kicks off after the Cars parade.

When we hear "Calabar Carnival", we think huge because it is the annual, the spectacular, the popular cultural festival that displays African culture and heritage by means of music, dressing, drama and other cultural creativities of talented persons. What's more? It's us, Nigerians owning this deal. Yes!

What is presumed to be the largest in the whole of Africa is highly costumed to reflect the cultural heritage of the people. The traditional ruler known as Obong in Efik language and his cabinet also participate in this unique cultural carnival.

Governor, Cross River State, Professor Ben Ayade said, “Today, our young men take risks and pass through perilous routes to seek greener pastures in Europe and America. This year’s carnival is to tell everybody that Africa is the richest continent and the future belongs to her. Africa is so blessed and there is no reason for the young men in Africa to struggle to leave the continent. We have to tell the story that the best place you can even be is in Africa. “The festival is not just about dancing and celebrations but telling a very powerful story that ends in hope. Today, we are going to tell the story in the form of a dance procession and tell the story of migration which is the problem of Africa. America and Europe are the past today and Africa is the future. The future is Africa because it is the last continent to be discovered”, the governor said.
This year’s carnival procession has five competing bands and also a number of other bands which are non – competing including a 1,500 man delegation from Imo State which is led by the deputy speaker of the state house of assembly.

Calabar cultural carnival is not for only Calabar indigenes and the Efik tribe; it is for all who are lovers of the cultural carnival. Spectators who participate in this unique annual festival are always filled with enthusiasm that is why so many people from different tribes, nations, cultures and backgrounds have all pooled together here in Nigeria in the "lolly" place called calabar. Bravo!!!

"Wilder is going to be getting a contract from us ASAP," Hearn said. "It's obviously the fight we want. There is a lot of sorting out to do for this fight, but great news that in principle he seems to be on board for the idea of coming to the UK for the fight. We're going to be dealing with it and we're going to be making sure he gets the relevant paperwork."

Wilder tweeted : "The $50M offer for him to fight me next in the U.S. is still available. Today I even agreed to their offer to fight Joshua next in the UK. If he prefers the fight in the UK, the ball is in their court. It's up to them to choose."

Not long after, we got a picture from Joshua on twitter with the caption "getting ready to rumble". Everybody assumes he is talking about the proposed fight that will turn reality soon.

Wilder's co-manager Shelly Finkel fed us some juicy bits, "We have agreed to the terms that Eddie has put out to us for a fight in the U.…
