LEAH SHARIBU TURNS 16 TODAY, IN CAPTIVITY!!!

Leah Sharibu was among the abducted 109 girls of the Government Girls Science and Technical College, Dapchi in Yobe State. The girls were abducted by the terrorist group, Boko Haram on February 19, 2018. Leah Sharibu who was aged fifteen at the time of the abduction in March 2018 turn 16 today, Monday. While 104 abducted girls were released to their parents, Leah Sharibu was held back by the captives because she refused to renounce her Christian faith.

PRESIDENT BUHARI SPEAKS ON THE DAPCHI ABDUCTED GIRLS


On Monday in Dapchi, Yobe State, over 90 girls were abducted from Government Girls Technical College. 

President Buhari has assured the families of the abducted students that no effort will be spared to bring succour to them.
Mr President said, “When I received the devastating news of the attack on the school and the fact that the local authorities could not account for all the students, I immediately dispatched a high-level delegation on a fact-finding visit to the town. I also instructed the security agencies to deploy in full and not spare any effort to ensure that all the girls are returned safely, and the attackers arrested and made to face justice.
“The entire country stands as one with the girls’ families, the government and the people of Yobe State. This is a national disaster. We are sorry that this could have happened and share your pain. We pray that our gallant armed forces will locate and safely return your missing family members.
“Our government is sending more troops and surveillance aircraft to keep an eye on all movements in the entire territory on a 24-hour basis, in the hope that all the missing girls will be found.”

We hope the girls will be found in no time and with no issues. Our prayers are with the girls and their families.

HE CLIMBS 4 STOREYS TO REACH A CHILD ON BALCONY. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

In what is being called the spiderman act, 22 year old Mamoudou Gassama reportedly took seconds to reach a child hanging off a balcony 4 storeys high.

The young Malian who entered France some months back proclaimed: “I saw all these people shouting , and cars sounding their horns . I climbed up like that and thank God , I saved the child.
“I was not thinking of anything. I went straight up”, Gassama, who wore jeans and a short-sleeved patterned shirt, told Macron, recounting the episode.
“Bravo,” Macron replied.




He said that the boy was crying when he hauled him to safety and had also suffered an injured foot.

The incident occurred around 8: 00 pm ( 1800 GMT ) on Saturday in northern Paris .
