But the severity of flooding in 2018 will not be as bad as what we had last year and, of course, it cannot be compared to what we had in 2012. “However, It is important to let those in flood- prone areas to know that the country will still experience flooding in 2018 and people in such locations should evacuate. This is one of the reasons for the AFO and the warnings from our agency and, of course, the government .”
Minister of Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu said, “Nigeria is also working with the Niger Basin Authority, the Lake Chad Basin Commission, Nigeria - Cameroon joint Commission and the N…

The recruitment advertisement circulating social media platforms on the account of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is false.

NNPC spokesman, Mr Ndu Ughamadu has this to say about the false adverts:
"It gave required educational attainments of prospects to include: Master’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma. The advertisement is a phantom. The corporation calls on unsuspecting members of the public to be wary of the scam. "NNPC advises members of the public to disregard any announcement of recruitment or invitation to recruitment interview appearing in the social media. “The corporation is not carrying out any recruitment exercise now."
Ughamadu therefore stated that "As an equal opportunities employer, NNPC will, as usual, advertise vacancies in the corporation through the national dailies."
Now that you know this, do well to alert unwitting job seekers who might fall victim to some unscrupulous h…
