Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to Nigerians to avoid inflammatory utterances that could endanger peace or promote conflicts.

Buhari during an interactive session with stakeholders in Plateau State :
“Whatever is being given to the media , we have to be very responsible about it.

‘‘Take for instance the situation in Benue. The Benue subsistence farmer knows that the Nigerian cattle herder that he knows doesn’t carry nothing more than a stick, occasionally sometimes something to cut grass to feed his cattle.

‘‘But the present herder, I am told, carries AK 47 and people are even blaming me for not talking to them because ( they say ) I look like one of them.

‘‘There is some injustice in these aspersions.”

He added, “I will continue to pressurise members of the law enforcement agencies directly under me by the constitution as the Commander - in Chief.

“About eight days ago , we had five hours security meeting of the service chiefs and the Inspector -General of Police.

Do you remember the young 22 year old Malian, who scaled four storeys easily to safe a child dangling from a rail in France?

That's right, Mamoudou Gassama, left Mali for greener pastures in France and after doing the unthinkable, French President Emmanuel Macron met with him after which he awarded Gassama with a French citizenship.

Good news! It doesn't stop there because at the 2018 BET Awards at Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, California, Gassama received a humanitarian award alongside Anthony Borges, James Shaw Jr., Justin Blackman, Naomi Wadler , and Shaun King .

Gassama is currently receiving lessons on being a firefighter at the French fire service with a pay of 600 euros monthly for his humanitarian gesture.

Recently, Nigerians joined singer, entrepreneur, husband and father, D'banj to mourn the loss of his 13 months old son who drowned in the swimming pool near the near.

Painful as it is, it is highly necessary that we note this sad incident forever and move on to acquiring skills that will prove helpful in future situations similar to this.

If you’re not a swimmer and chances are you live near water or you might eventually have cause to enter the pool or send kids to take a swim, you need to take lessons and learn how to swim.

When you're not in the pool, never take your eyes off your child when he or she is in or around the water. Children who are younger (but older than age 1) might also benefit from swimming lessons, but check with your doctor first.

Having a pool, pond, or hot tub on your property is a massive responsibility. Therefore, having a fence (one that goes directly around the pool ) between the water and your hous…
